Oops!! We did it again!

Madi forcing out a smile for the camera Easter morning. Like always, we were rushed making it to church on time.

I took this picture and laugh because Madi threw a nice little tantrum at church and broke her glasses again...and here she is staring at her gifts left by the Easter bunny who somehow (madi claims) broke into our house! Brion and I both think she didn't see her basket for about 3 minutes without the missing glasses!

AHHHH! Finally she made the 3 feet walk to see what she was missing.

Once again using those peepers to search for the hidden easter eggs left in the yard. We also made a little trip to the hospital last Tuesday. I started having contractions for a few hours and Brion and I panicked that we weren't going to make it into town in time and headed out. We got to the hospital and walked for a good 1 1/2 hrs and decided to have them check and see what was going on. I was dialated to a 4, yet here I sit blogging to you all and no baby pictures and am still at a measly 4! Ibegged the doctor to enduce me yesterday and he set me up for an induction Monday morning at 6:00am!
So yes once again we headed to the hospital a little early and now everyone is in anxious mode for our little one to arrive. The only good thing about this is my mom flew in last week in hopes of a little one and so we've been walking and shopping, doing hair, playing games, walking, cleaning and a little more walking.

Madisons First Talk & Visitors

Well here is our baby all grown up and giving talks in sacrament meeting. Brion and I were asked to speak in church and were preparing our lessons when Madi asked if she could go up there with us big kids. We were a little hesitant at first because we've taken her up there to bear her testimony before and she just froze. But we prepared a little talk and she nailed it. Brion whispered her the words and she did everything so perfectly. No fear whatsoever. I wish our parents could have been there. Here is a picture for memories sake anyways and the lovely pose. I couldn't get her to smile for the life of me.

We also got to see Verl, Julia and Parker this weekend. They were in town and we were able to go to lunch with them and visit for a little while. It was good to catch up and see what was going on in their lives. Madi just adored baby Parker and would not leave him alone. The big sister in her is starting to set in.

Green River Trip

Very unexpectantly we made a quick trip down to Green River for the weekend. My Dad got put in as Bishop of their ward and we were able to be apart of it all. It was so nice to see the fam as well as my Grandma and Uncle, Derek, Michelle and Kylee Jo, and Brion's parents, Travis and Crystal and our nephew Landon. The drive was about 7 1\2 hours and we had great roads, but I think that will be the last time we go down until after the baby is born. (I was a little cranky to say the least.) It was so fun to see everyone and even though we were there about 24 hours it was well worth the trip.

This is actually a terrible picture. My only goal was to get a few family pictures with everyone, but as hectic as things were, I barely got one of the three of us. Poor Madi is squished between Brion and the big fat pregnant lady. And needless to say we look pretty cheesy!

Family Home Evening

For FHE this week we talked about prayer and painted prayer rocks to put beside our beds. Madi was so excited to paint and has carried all three of our rocks around this entire week.

Yep, I'm sure you can guess which rock belongs to who. Brion has the ladybug, I have the BYU rock and Madi painted hers every color we had. Madison has even taken the ladybug to bed a few times with her.

We're Alive!!!

"Our House"
We are here! We've actually been here a little over a month and we've been meaning to blog, but things have been a little hectic. We're all unpacked and for the most part settled in, we've met the ward and a few of our neighbors. We really love our house and are starting to feel right at home. Brion loves his job, he fits in great wearing hoodies and hats to work everyday. I found a doctor that I really like in Boise, it's a little further than we planned on traveling, but I think it will be great. Madi has had quite the hard time adjusting, being in a new place, with new faces and away from friends and family, but she's slowly starting to come around. We are doing wonderful and miss each and everyone of you. We are always open to visitors and have plenty of room!

We actually had Brion's parents and brother down last weekend and this weekend, Jason and Candi and their two boys came up for a wedding reception and stayed with us. This is Madi and Braden at McDonalds. Can't go wrong there!

Then we headed off to the zoo which is open year round up here. It was a beautiful sunny day and as you can see we had tons of fun. We are starting to forget that it's still winter.

With ears this big you would think she would listen a lot better than she does!

The camel isn't the only one sporting a lovely hump.

Jealous of our Nice Weather...

Madi peeping out of the prairiedog hole. What a goober!
Hitchin a ride from Dad.

The hit of the zoo, the giraffe slide.

Jason and Braden, Madi and Brion looking at the tigers.

It's Official...

We're moving!!! Brion got a job in Idaho near the Oregon border, about an 1 1/2 hours outside the Boise area. We are absolutely thrilled and feel very blessed by this opportunity, especially in our economy right now. He'll work as their Environmental Safety Specialist. They have amazing benefits, they reimburse tuition (which gives us the opportunity to go back and get our Masters if we choose to do so), and we are hoping to get into a house instead of an apartment!!!! Along with our excitment, we also feel a very bittersweet feeling as we leave our "home" here in Rexburg. We've been here a little over 4 years and have had so many opportunities and experiences that have richly blessed our family and our individual lives as well. We will truly miss all of you and the wonderful times we have shared!

It's a Boy!!!!

We are excited to announce that we are having a baby boy!!! I am now five months along and feeling great. We had our ultrasound yesterday where we found out the exciting news. The doctor said that everything with the baby looks wonderful, he is growing and developing perfectly. Madison is also very excited to be a big sister, I think that she will be able to fill the role perfectly seeing how she is already so stubborn and bossy, (I think she gets that from her mom). Anyways, we have been thinking of boy names although Madi insists that she is going to name the baby Owen after her little buddy from her primary class...we'll see. My due date is April 25, so we will keep you up to date on any news. Thank you for all of your love and support!!

One of the birthday parties

Thanks to everyone who attended Madi's party. We had such a fun afternoon at great ol' McDonalds and were able to celebrate Madi's third birthday with primary friends and neighbors.

Our Little Gymnist

The Poser

The first part of the amazing summersault...

And the landing!! Ta DA!!

For Madi's birthday, Brion and I decided we would get Madi signed up for gymnastics. We had our first free trial run Thursday evening. I highly recommend this to every parent with a two year old or older. This is definitely a way to get the wiggles out especially with winter just around the corner. They take your children for an hour and stretch, jump, walk the balance beam, hula hoop, jump in the sponge pit, sing and dance. It was great. Brion and I both went to show our support for our little gymnist and we both had our noses pressed up against the window for an house observing her every move. Madi came home very proud of her new sport and slept like a rock!!! That to me is worth every penny. I was the first one in line to give the lady our money for the next few months!!!

Princess Party at the Pearsons

Lily, Alyssa and Madi all dressed up for an afternoon of royalty.
Nothing like a makeover to get the party started.
Time for a treat.
Whats a princess party without a little twirling and dancing! Even we princesses get tired sometimes!!

This past weekend, Madi and I went down to Green River for a few days to see the fam and catch up with Candace and Brian for the blesing of their baby, Jhett. Here are some of the fun pictures we took of the fam. This was Madi, Jen and Spencer. Spencer just broke his leg during his first football game of the season. He's a trooper though, he still goes and suppports his brother and their team. I thought this was funny, here Madi is, she's like the size of Spencer's cast on his leg!!
Madi and Jen hanging with the girls. Madi has a friend named Gracie she plays with when we go to Wyoming . It's a fun time for her.
My brother, Derek and his new haircut!! Enough said!! We still love him though!
We got to catch one of Tanners football games while we were in town. I've never seen him play before and he's really good, plus Madi just adores this kid and was cheering for him off the sidelines. Couldn't ask for a better lookin' cheerleader!
Candace, Jhett, Madi and I. I'm so glad we were able to be there for Jhett's blessing. I talked Canace into skipping Sunday School so we could catch up. I miss that girl. Wish we got to see each other more often than we do. She's such a great friend and it was fun to see her as a mom!!! As for Brion, he was stuck home farming (I know he's always farming). We sure missed him, but it was sure good to see family and friends.

Random Pictures

Yes, We are alive and all is well! We are still in Idaho. Brion's had a handful of interviews and we are still trying to figure things out. We have been here and there and just got back from Green River. We thought it would be a good time to visit the family and check up on things in Wyoming. These pictures are of Madi's darling new haircut (which makes life so much easier for the both of us) and the day we took Landon, Drake and Madi to the zoo and amusement park. What a blast to have the cousins hangout together, but also a very tiring day for everyone. Brion and I included!!!

Well for all of you who have been waiting for a new update, here we go. And sorry no pictures, I know it's rather boring without, but my camera is broken. But we had quite the week last week, so all of you who called or needed a babysitter or just wanted to play, we ended up going out of town unexpectantly for a job interview in Washington. We hurried and packed up and my parents came and saved the day and got Madi and Brion and I took off on the 10 hour drive out to the Tri-Cities area. NO news yet!!! but we really enjoyed ourselves and had a great time. Honestly it was very relaxing and nice to get out of town for a while away from reality and all responsibility. As far as the interview goes, Bri did really good and either way something will work out and go as planned. Washington was a different story, it just wasn't quite what we expected. We came home very appreciative and loving Idaho more than ever!!!!

There is probably nothing as relaxing as a day of fishing. I guess unless you are two years old. I think that Madi had more fun playing in the dirt and chasing bugs then she did fishing. Although, she did assist in catching 2 fish. She would let us do the fishing until we had something on the line then she wanted to reel it in from there. Once we had the fish out of the water we tried to get Madi to touch them. She touched one and then it started to wiggle so she screamed, she is so girly. You may also notice that Brion caught the bigger of the two fish... not that it matters.
